Not for Kids and Kings do not get voted in by the People
Good thing this is a fantasy story or is it? We're sort of 50/50 on that one. Won but which one? Aren't we mixing up the history of the elections to make a fantasy?
Kings do not get voted in by the masses, they take control regardless of the peasant's needs, desires, votes, or wishes. After a king is in place, he will cut your head off if you hunt in "his" forest. He forgets, quickly that the forest belongs to the people.
Of course, the opposite of this fantasy was about King Richard the III lyrics (1797) "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. Four-score Men and Four-score more, Could not make Humpty Dumpty where he was before."
The king in this book sounds a little similar to the Humpty Dumpty but drawn way on the feminine side.
Recommended for 3 and up... Even someone 30 would have difficulty following the 40 pages. But if you use it as a bedtime story it'll put your kids to sleep fast, if not with nightmares.
Subliminal messages and visuals are everywhere in this children's book. Climate change: as an example, "the sun was made of mustard" and soon making everything will be "mustard".
It would have been funny if the author added Sir Biden, tripping in the background in a "Major" way on a royal carpet. After all, that's whom the king lost too.
In the end, it says they lived happily ever after... That part would be the fairy tale as it will take a wizard with magical spells to fix this continued nightmare.
I would wait for this book to go on sale for a penny in The Used market and it will, as the peasant's revolt.
