Even for zero dollar it was too much. This heroine is so stupid and so immature that even in a fictional character it was not good. SPOILER: there's no reason in this life to hide a child from his father (maybe if he's a criminal, a rapist, a murderer, the devil it was justifiable) but her reasons was the dumbest ever. And don't blame in being young bcause if she graduated from college yet she knew well enough what she was doing. She overheard a conversation between the hero and his brother about tha pressure of getting married and wanting to wait to have kids because he wanted to grow in his baseball career first. What is wrong with that? The heroine (poor little sweet young immature thing) felt betrayed by the hero because of this. So she decided to let him at the altar on the day of their wedding. And she married some othet guy she met in this town she hid herself in and let this guy raise her kid for 10 years. Oh.. Then the guy died. How convenient. She went back to her hometown and this and that and the hero find out about the kid and this girl passed the whole book like she did no wrong. It was the hero's fault. Thiis is one of those books you wished for more detailed spoilers so you could avoid it, i wasn't so lucky. Poor me, it was all the reviewers with not enough spoilers that made me read this . Lol
