I’ve been using Lume for 1-1.5 years now. Love the cream deodorant stick! It makes it easy for me to apply. I was able to totally come off antiperspirants last summer even. I’ve always had the problem of something working really well for 3 weeks and then needing to switch. I did have to reapply Lume in the afternoon or evening as a quick touchup but I was in heaven for the first time as an adult to have a deodorant work so well for so long. I even used in my… “creases” and MAN O MAN my undercarriage has always smelled like walking into a Bath & Body Works in 1998! Lovely. And i don’t mind paying a little more for the quality. I don’t like however that the product gets hard before I’m done using it - I have one upstairs and one downstairs and it usually takes me about 6 months to get through them both, which happens about the same time. I usually deal with it crusting up in my pits until I cave and throw the last bit away and get new ones. When i went to restock last week, I was pleasantly surprised that my favorite scent (lavender sage) was now in a solid stick, I was like YAAAASSS GURL sign me up! I tried a new scent cus I was feeling spicy - sandalwood citrus (which btw smells like an old board with expired citrus spice but I still gave it a try because the first time using Lume it almost smelled like spit until I got used to it so I figured it might take a little time). To my complete surprise, by hour 4 … it smelled like horrible 90° day body odor, we’re talkin swamp monster. I cleaned it off with tea tree vanilla mix and reapplied. Same thing over and over for 3 days. NO MA’AM. I know I can usually be too forgiving, but this def didn’t deserve 3 of my whole extremely busy days. I returned immediately and got my trusty lavender sage instead - it’s always done me “solid”. Lol.. see what I did there? Solid? Heh heh heh. Well…. Very unfortunately - SAME d*mn thing happened!!!! RETURNED! I know it’s not me just being a stank pot either because I have switched back to what little hardened cream stick I have left in warm vanilla and everything is fine. I don’t know WHOSE poor and very questionable decision it was to make the ingredient list for the solid stick, but I’m concerned for you. Do you NOT want to make money anymore or???? If anyone who is important at this company reads my review: DO BETTER. Don’t cut costs or change ingredients when it worked well before. I did order a cream stick of vanilla, but if the same thing happens on a THIRD try, then shame on me. Y’all will be looking at a new Natïve customer.
