A WARNING to all prospective purchasers of Morinaga Hi-Chew 225+ Individually Wrapped Assorted Tropical, Regular And Sours Flavored Mix Fruit Chews Mango, Grape, Strawberry, Green Apple, Lemon, Banana, Grapefruit, Melon And Lime. These candies are not real Hi-Chews, but rather a fake imitation of obviously inferior quality. Please see the attached picture, where you can find "Hi-Chews" (cut in half) from this pack on the left compared to Hi-Chews purchased as part of a different assortment (Morinaga Hi-Chew Assorted Flavored 30oz 160+ Individually Wrapped Fruit Chews Mango Grape Strawberry Green Apple) on the right. Note the slightly different packaging and coloring of the candy. As reported in other reviews, these fake candies are quite stale and lack the soft/chewy consistency of the real Hi-Chew candies on the right. When compared to the real thing, these candies are barely edible. Do yourself a favor, and do not buy this imitation and inferior product.
