I bought this to use with my foster kittens. I already had a Snuggle Safe, but I liked the idea of this because it’s so soft. The Snuggle Safe stays warm for hours and hours, but it’s pretry hard. A warm, squishy gel pack sounded perfect. Unfortunately, it only stays warm (barely warm) for about an hour. It loses most of its heat very quickly. It’s also a pain to heat up. You have to microwave it in 30 second bursts and mix the gel all around in between, to evenly distribute the warmer gel, before putting it back in again. With the Snuggle Safe, you just pop it in the microwave for several minutes and take it out when it’s done. So, unless you really need your warming pack to be squishy, and you don’t need it to provide much heat for too long, get a Snuggle Safe instead.
