Advertised as a solar charger outdoor power bank. I purchased this thinking I could charge my phone, and Kindle Fire while remote camping or anchoring out on my boat. The idea was to charge the internal battery during the day by utilizing the solar panels, then charge my electronics overnight while I'm sleeping. The problem is it's not really a solar charger, however, it will charge in the sun, it just takes days of direct sunlight to charge the unit. The instructions only make mention of it as a solar charger, the recommended way to charge it is to plug it into AC and use your USB phone charger. I charged my phone twice on one battery charge, however, it was really the equivalent of one full charge as the phone was only discharged about halfway each time. I then placed the charger in my yard for 3 full days of direct sunlight and it charged 3 out of 4 bars, so basically one bar for every full day of sunlight. I'm sure better options are available.
