Pedals broke off in the crank after three rides. Pay the extra money for Shimano pedals.
I purchased these pedals about five months ago for my electric bike. They were really grippy and I liked them enough to purchase a second pair. The second pair was put on my road bike for commuting. Last night I was riding back from a friends place and the pedal literally fell off when riding due to breakage. This is genuinely unsafe and I could have gotten hurt. I'm returning these and getting Shimano pedals instead.
