So frustrating! I think I'm done with Addison Cain.
I REALLY like this author. I own most of what she's written, but this may be the last straw. Her books seem to be getting shorter & shorter, but even more expensive. I'm happy to pay a fair price for anyone's work, even taking into consideration their overhead, experience, education, etc. Authors deserve to be paid for their hard work. But stretching a book, then dividing it into 3 books & charging almost $7 per "book" really blows. I just don't like feeling like I'm being screwed over by an author I've supported & loved. Charging what amounts to $21 for a *Kindle* book divided into 3 parts feels more like extortion. This and the trend of authors greatly padding their "books" with excerpts from other books blows. Do they think we're stupid?
