I really wanted to love the product and it's just not that good. I was so excited to try it before it arrived, because I have always been an OXO fan. But this thing doesn't work properly. It does have sharp knife and edge which cuts quick, but the design is just too poor for some small veggies such as carrots and cumcumbers which have small surfaces to be held by the protection holder. The holder has a spring on the other side which means you cannot stick your veggies on the holder WITHOUT pushing it down to the board. It's supposed to be an good idea for safety, but then surface is too small to push down, the vegs will be chopped down half way. And it actually took a lot of strength to hold the protector in place. Also there is no way to cut the last piece bc there isn't enough height for the blade to work on, so you will end up wasting a largr piece of buggies. You will know what I mean when you see the pictures. It only works for potatoes, tomatoes or onions etc. I guess? so it definitely not worth $80+. And when the carrots stuck in between blades, it's so hard to clean. Will be returning.
