To be clear, this is a review for the WHITE LEVEL PILLOW My Pillow Premium Series Bed Pillow, Standard/Queen Size, White Level This is a lot longer than most of my reviews, but I feel it's necessary. Reading all these reviews, watching the infomercials, and giving it some SERIOUS thought, I decided to buy this pillow. I'm not sure when my neck and back issues started, but I've had them for as long as I can remember. It has ALWAYS been a huge problem in my life, and I was so intrigued that a pillow - this pillow - could change that because no other pillow in my life has been able to do that. I took the test on the My Pillow site, and found out that I required the white level pillow. When I received it, it came in the small package that I knew it would since I did the research. I threw it in the dryer for the 15 minutes (medium heat) and placed it on my bed. It did fluff it up, but it DID NOT double in size like some other reviewers stated. This was it. This was the pillow I've been waiting for! I couldn't wait to go to sleep. I got home later that night, got in my PJs, and laid my head down on the pillow. I was a little sad when my head sank all the way to the bottom of the mattress. The filling divided into two parts and didn’t form to my head like I was expecting. No problem I thought, I just need to fluff it up as everyone said. After I did that, it stayed fluffed for about a minute, and then separated again. What was I doing wrong? Surely, this cannot be happening. I did my homework, read the reviews, and watched the videos - everything looked legit! Maybe I should just sleep on it (get it?) I woke up the next morning with the worst neck pain I have ever had. It was paralyzing. I threw the pillow across the room. How was I fooled like this? AGAIN! I've been here before. I've fallen for the infomercials and reviews only to be disappointed. This was different though. I was so sure. I decided to give it another shot. Maybe it just needed to be broken in. Nope - two more nights in a row of tossing and turning and I woke up with the same neck pain. Again, let me emphasize. It was paralyzing. I’m sending this pillow back today. I’ve given it three very painful nights. Nothing is worth that, in my opinion. I refuse to give it anymore of my joy. It’s possible that the My Pillow has changed lives and allowed people to sleep better – but this was not my experience at all. I give the My Pillow company props for their marketing efforts, but I'm almost certain that's the reason it's so expensive because it's no better than a pillow you can buy for $3.
