Not sure what happened. I ordered this in mid Dec 2020, and it arrived in the jar to the right (with pink, orange, blue label). It was crispy, smoky spice, and irresistible. Most importantly, it was vacuum sealed and I distinctly heard a “pop” when I opened it for the first time. Fast forward to mid Jan 2021, and decided to reorder because it was so delicious. The striped jar on the left arrived. Coming out of the package, the bottle was coated in oil, there was no tamper resistant seal, and there was only a screw on lid (vs the vacuum seal lid that was on the previous jar). We love this chili crisp but not at the expense of worrying whether it has been tampered with, especially during a global pandemic. No thanks. We will monitor whether Fly By Jing decides to implement a tamper resistant seal or any other measure to ensure customer safety, otherwise we will look to competitors’ products that are sealed for our safety. Thank you.
