EDIT: Freezer died after less than a year. Boo. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I bought this freezer to store my breast milk stash. When it arrived I plugged it in, waited 24 hours, then moved my frozen milk from my kitchen freezer to this one. It made a loud buzzing/humming noise for about 30 seconds every 5 minutes, which was kind of annoying, but I was able to ignore it. I checked on my milk a few hours later and it was slushy... it was actually warming up and starting to thaw! I was horrified and immediately contacted the manufacturer. They were wonderful and wrote back to me immediately, apologizing and offering to send me a new freezer. The new freezer arrived promptly, and now that I have it up and running I can tell that the original one was totally defective. This new one has a barely audible humming noise and keeps my milk nice and frozen! Phew! Moral of the story: Test out your freezer with some ice cubes before putting in anything that you actually care about!
