This pan was great when it was new. After three months the bottom turned black where the heating element is. Everything stuck to it in that ring and we could not get it clean again. It was very disappointing considering all the raves the copper surface bottoms are getting. I would send it back but I threw the box away. I will toss it and buy an old fashioned teflon one. They last longer and are half the price.
