You don't know exactly what you're getting
I didn't buy this for endurance, etc. I bought it to help control my blood pressure. I cannot confirm whether the SuperBeets actually helped me. In addition to drinking the superbeets for a month, every day, I also watched my intake of sodium - so I can't say it was the superbeets that helped. That being said, here are my reasons for giving it two stars: You don't know exactly what you're getting. Nowhere - not on their website or on the cannister -does the seller list how much beet root is in a serving. Yes, you get 5 grams of the powder per teaspoon, but who knows how much beet root is in that teaspoon. If you buy a bottle of beet root supplement, the bottle will clearly state how many milligrams of beet root you're getting per serving, or per pill. With superbeets, you're kept in the dark. They say each serving has the equivalent of 3 beets, but don't explain what that means. When asked directly, the seller will not answer this question. That's a red flag. Why won't the seller answer questions about exactly what you're getting? I suspect it's because they don't want you to figure out that you can get the same stuff (beet root), in pill form, for a lot cheaper. You can buy a bottle of beet root supplement at any pharmacy for $8, each serving containing 1000 milligrams of beet root. Secondly, the taste. I'm not saying its horrible, but if you have to hold your breath while drinking it, it's not tasty.
