BITS OF PLASTIC OR GLASS?
As I ate these they struck me as "extra" crunchy, but I figured that was by design. After eating quite a few, I pulled a hard bit out of my mouth that looked like a plastic or glass particle, a little bigger than the head of a pin. As the particle was setting on a napkin, I tried to crush it with a large spoon - but it cut right through the napkin and didn't crush. I determined that it would be a safety hazard to eat anymore, figured I would either send them back to the vendor or to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Unfortunately, a return is not allowed and no way to contact the vendor, so I guess it will be the latter? It seems possible that one of the vessels they use to mix or cook the product is lined with glass or ceramic, and is chipping off and getting into the product....Luckily I have not seen health issues as a result of eating this product (so far)....
