I work in special education and purchased the Dexas Slimcase based on high reviews and the description that stated the product was made of durable, high impact, "break resistant" plastic. Today was the first day of school. The clipboard slipped off of a child sized chair that is approximately 2 feet from the ground. The bottom cracked and a piece of plastic fell off. I was so disappointed that this product was not durable as advertised. Since I am a public school educator, I purchased this item out of my own pocket. Although this is one small purchase, these expenses add up quickly and try to buy products that are worth it. Perhaps this item was defective and the product is typically durable. I would greatly appreciate if Dexas would send me a new clipboard or issue a refund. In my field, I am constantly on the move and was so excited to use this clipboard for the upcoming school year as it appears it would suit my needs! I'll be happy to update this review if Dexas will replace this item. Thank you, Marina, a public school speech-language pathologist
