I never leave bad reviews
I never leave bad reviews, but this receiver did not fully pass HDR10 capability to my Xbox One X. It allowed for HDR10 video, but not HDR10 gameplay. If I plugged my TV directly into my Xbox One X, voila, HDR10 capable for both videos and gaming. The build quality is fine, but the lack of advanced functionality, the lack of AUX-IN, at this price point was just super disappointing. I returned the Sony and picked up the Yamaha RX-V385. It's $50 cheaper, has tons of more functionality and advanced controls, passes HDR10 and Dolby Vision correctly, has AUX-IN, and allows you to play the audio from one source over the video of another source, a feature I've wanted for years. Definitely skip this pile and pick up the Yamaha, you'll be happy you did.
