Of astoundingly poor quality - the sole does not even support a whole foot!
There was a time when "Isotoner" meant quality, but that time is gone. I bought these for years, and wore them inside my home, in all seasons. They fit well, lasted, provided warmth and a safe footing, a cross between a shoe and a slipper. You paid a bit more for Isotoner, but the reliability and quality were worth it. No longer. I have tried several times in recent years to see if perhaps it was a bad model or unusual conditions, because the fit and construction on each recent purchase was sloppy, and even with normal wear inside the house only, they got holes and started to come apart a short time after getting them. But I missed the functionality I had with them, so I decided to try one more time.
The first thing you notice is that they don't fit the foot. The sole is a fraction of the sole of a normal foot - so it does not provide full coverage for the portion of the foot that is on the ground - the whole purpose of anything worn on the foot! So when you stand, part of your foot is supported by the solid sole, and part of it is standing on the soft upper material. Can you imagine a better definition of being "cheap," a shoe with a partial sole? Did they not think people would notice that the sole on the product does not fit the feet it is sized for? Crazy.
And the "jersey" material that surrounds the foot? - I have had the product for three weeks, and there are holes in it already.
I will be returning it, and this is my last "Isotoner." I know many women for whom these were the standard - hats, gloves, slippers, etc that were a staple in our wardrobes, and always a good gift . I don't understand why a company that had really good products would choose to make them so inferior today. Don't buy this; it truly is junk.
