Despite being called a 512 GB flash drive, this unit is actually only 461 GB. So, it's somewhat disingenuous to call it 512 GB when it doesn't even reach 500 GB. It's 495 Gib, or 495 billion bytes. Unfortunately, though the above could be lived with, the real problems with this flash drive CANNOT be lived with! I initially gave this drive a 4 star review because it initially worked well. After about copying 300 GB, it started to show its true colors. Since July when I got this new PC, I had only ever had 1 Blue Screen Of Death in Windows. In 30 minutes trying to write to this drive, I got over 5! And what it did actually manage to write was corrupted! So, despite its size and fairly speedy read and write values, it doesn't matter at all when the drive can't be trusted. It's trash. Returned it for a refund.
