Do not purchase.
I'm actually really really disappointed in this little scale. It drifts. By itself, all the way up to 3+ grams, just because it wants to. Regardless of price, no scale should do that.
After calibrating with 20 U.S. nickels (100 grams) I thought it would be fine. If you remove one nickel, it reads 93.xx and if you remove 2 nickels it reads 86.xx. Mind you, nickels weigh exactly 5 grams each. I bought this to weigh foods - more specifically, some nutrition/bodybuilding supplements. The only time it ever displays the correct weight is when I have exactly 100 grams on it, otherwise it is so freaking far off, its comical.
I'll contact the seller and see about getting a replacement and will update the review accordingly. Hopefully I just got a dud.
EDIT: I contacted the seller to ask about a replacement. They told me that all exchanges etc are handled by Amazon (makes sense, being FBA). When I went to the returns page, the "exchange item" option was nowhere to be found. I verified on some of my other recent purchases and found that some of them did have an exchange option - some didn't, like this product. I only had the option to return it and wasn't able to get a replacement. Too much to deal with, so I just returned it as defective and will be going to with another brand. My original impressions of this product still remain the same, given my limited exposure. Other reviews indicate that this little scale is accurate, so like I said, I might have just gotten a faulty one. This is simply my experience with this product and seller.
