Do not waste your money or time.
I have been using this model PockIts for several years. I use it for work every day, and have come to rely on it and be glad for my always-available convenient helper. Until recently. Ordinarily, the PockIts lasts me about a year before it just starts wearing out from use. About a month ago, I was ready for my annual replacement of my PockIts pouch, so I bought another...this exact same model. The first thing I noticed that was different this time was the change in the belt attachment. The PockIts XL now has an added, ulky plastic clip where a thin, tough fabric one previously existed. Maybe not so big a deal. The big deal comes in the form of reduced quality and durability. The new material and construction are FAR inferior to the old. I used this PockIts for less than a month and it has deteriorated to a point far worse than they used to get after over a year of service. I am very disapointed and saddened about this development. It is not the money. I would gladly pay more to have the original product back. The thing is that I can't be going through the hassle of having to replace a raggedy tool pouch every 30 days because some Einstein decided to make unnecessary changes for the worse to a previously very satisfactory product. I will return the product and then begin the search for another quality company to commit my loyalty and patronage to. I am hoping this strikes a chord with someone at Nite Ize. Maybe they will reply "Don't go! We realize this was a mistake and would love to sell you some of the original design units and we plan to put them back in the stores!" I will not hold my breath. For the rest of you...be warned. I even sent them an email similar to this review. They did not even bother to respond. I would not trust this company for anything anymore. Sadly, this is goodbye, old friend. Thank you all for your time.
