I ordered two of these and one of them malfunctioned when the lights kept blinking often on even with the new filter. I’m sorry now that I got a replacement for that one because these simply catch air that may or may not be filled with dust and blow it up through a fan into a cloth filter. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. Honestly, it’s a waste of money. I should have gotten an air filter with a charcoal filter inside. And certainly should have gotten one that has a washable filter. I have been washing these filters about every three weeks but I don’t know how long they will last. I really regret this Purchase.
