I would strongly recommend not purchasing this product
This thing worked for about a month and a half and then stopped for no reason and lost every file I have. I can no longer get my Mac to recognize this drive or access anything that is on it. Yes the drive was formatted correctly Western Digital Tech Support. I would strongly recommend not purchasing this product.
