Don't waste your money on this.
It helped keep my dogs off the sofa. However, it stopped working after a month. What a waste! I just bought a roll of that clear plastic with the nubs on the bottom that's used to protect carpet. Place that on your sofa with the nubs facing up, and it'll make sure your pets will stay off your furniture and counters.
