I’m not thrilled with this purchase. On one of the first pages it states something like: “Secrets can be good. If it makes us and the other person feel good it’s a good secret” (paraphrasing). I didn’t love that line. Sexual abusers often exploit the fact that sexual contact feels good for the child. That’s why it’s so confusing for kids. This line did not sit well with me and I don’t plan to read it to my children.
