At first I really liked this pan, even ordered 3 others of the same brand. I was using it 4 times a week--on the stove top and sometimes in the oven. I was easy to use and clean up was not difficult. However this week I noticed that the black top coat is popping off--as pan was heating up I heard popping noises and looked to find large patches where the surface was gone. I don't know how this will affect the performance but am reluctant to use it as I don't want this stuff in my cooking.
