These are plastic bags and the scented ones -- which I got by accident -- literally give me a migraine. Save yourself the feeling of being cheated, and just use your regular grocery bags, you'll probably be doing more for the environment since you'll LITERALLY be recycling something you already have at hand, instead of contributing to the production of most plastic. And to whoever answered the top question in the questions list with "these bags are probably the closest one could get given the current state of technology to having "green" dog wastes bags," that's total BOGUS. There's a great company that makes actually biodegradable bags (in 90 days) that don't stink with toxic chemical "perfume" . . . yeah it's a small company that doesn't have the money to muscle its way to the top of the amazon food chain with paid ads and marketing, but they're my go-to product and they actually do what they say they do.
