Horrible manufacture quality. What about some quality control Acer? I haven't turned on the laptop yet and I have a lot to complain about. I got my laptop and the internal FireCuda additional hard drive and decided to install the hard drive before I start using my new laptop. Watched a tutorial on YouTube and opened the lid for the hard slot on the back. Noticed the connector stuck under the laptop body. It was stuck so badly I could not pull it out with a normal force (first photo). I contacted support and sent them the picture and they told me this is not normal and I have to take it to their repair center! BRAND NEW LAPTOP must go to the repair center. Meanwhile, I loosened a few screws of the body on the left side and I was able to pull the connector out. I was surprised how far the piece has gone inside the body. You can tell from the size of the scratches in the second picture. Their support said it might have happened during shipping. There is no way the connector could have gone so deep just by moving the laptop. I am very disappointed. The body warped over the connector because the size of the gap is not enough for the connector to just slip in. Also, the tag for the serial number on the back is already coming off. And laptop had some finger prints before I took it out of the nylon slip. I am wondering if they have sold me a refurbished laptop but I have ordered a brand new one. (UPDATE) I tried to create an account with them and register my product. They sent me a confirmation link through email. Look at the third picture and see what happens when I click on the link inside email. You guys at Acer are amazing!
