Don't buy it. It is fake !
I bought the queen size comforter based on its low price (much lower price than other mulberry silk comforters). Now I realized I made a big mistake. I learned the easiest way to check if the filling is authentic mulberry silk or something synthetic (such as polyester instead) is to burn a small strand of the silk. The mulberry silk would burn into a black ball-shaped remainder which can be crashed by hand, while the synthetic silk would burn into very small amount of gray ash. I would like to try it on my comforter to see if I really got a good deal. Here is my finding: 1. First I extract some silk from the outer shell of the filling, burned it and found it is becoming small black balls so it is real mulberry silk. 2. Then I pulled out some strand from inner portion of the filling, burned it and you know what it is becoming gray ash ! 3. I tried again to pull more silk from inner portion of the filling and did the burning test again and I still see gray ash. Now I know what happened: The filling of my comforter is made of synthetic silk (like polyester) covered by real mulberry silk at the outside. So if I don't touch into the inner side I would not find the real truth. I was cheated, and it justified why the seller can sell this comforter at such a low price !!! I will definitely call Amazon to solve this problem so the seller cannot fool others any more!
