I am not new to steamers or inexperienced. I used it a few times, with fair results (not great). I went to use it yesterday to steam a work shirt. You could hear it heat up for some time - no steam came out, which was surprising. I went to ensure the wire wasn't kinked & instead of steam coming out, it shot out the equivalent to its nearly full tank of scalding hot water. Because I was half dressed to leave for work, I was burned in the face, neck, chest, shoulders and arms. The shock of it made me gasp, and I also inhaled scalding water up the nose - inside the nose, lips, chin, eyes, all burned. I would not recommend this product to anyone and am grateful i did not lose my vision. The agony and now potential scarring that I face is definitely NOT worth the small price tag.
