I just received this coat rack, and was super excited about it. Yes there were a few negative reviews, but it still had an overall rating of 4 stars, and I wasn't looking for anything fancy. It showed up early (in fact, my order status has not yet been updated to delivered) and proceeded to rain RUST all over my coat parade. Please see my pictures in the customer photo section, there are several examples of what I'm referring to here. The body, while smooth on the outside, showered rusty tidbits and even chunks all over me, my hardwood floor, and the instructions. Almost all of the arms have at least a few scratches on them (future rust, hooray), with some being worse than others. As I was pushing the parts of the body into each other, some paint around the edges began to flay out, sort of like a bad manicure. A common complaint I saw in the reviews was that this stand is wobbly. The rack itself actually seems pretty sturdy, but the bottom legs are lopsided. Keeping in mind another review, I tried unscrewing it and screwing it back in. A little better, but not much. I tried swapping which set of legs was on top, just in case it was due to user error. No such luck. I messed with it until I got it as close as possible, but there is only so much you can do. Nonetheless, a felt pad under one leg should do the trick, and I think it will be pretty solid once I get that on. If you buy this, also order some Rustoleum spray paint and some pads to put under the feet when they wobble. ***NOTE: I have contacted their customer service and am awaiting a reply. Since they do not accept returns that have been taken out of their packaging and/or assembled, I am hoping they will offer me a replacement or a refund. If they do, I will be updating my review and pictures to as appropriate.*** ***UPDATE 1/23: I never heard back from customer service. Not one peep. Amazon's Customer Service, on the other hand, did take care of me, despite the fact that this really was the seller's issue to fix, not Amazon's. I will not use this seller again.***
