This is a comically terrible book. Save your money and just use google like the author did.
This is the single worst book I’ve ever come across. I bought it because I’m an fan of the Outlander series and expected a well researched reference on 18th century herbs and their uses, and for that info to be tied into the book. To put it simply, the author appears to have googled various herbs and plants and hodgepodged that into a bound book. The 20-some pages of references are, in its entirety, a list of websites including Wikipedia. If this was an English 101 paper, it would get an F. The references and tie-ins to the Outlander series are sparse and not accurate. Words cannot describe how bad this book is.
Photos: If you’ve read the Outlander books, you might pick up on some inaccuracies. The table of contents has an interesting structure lol. The page numbers do not match up with the table of contents. The reference pages are literally all websites. Ugh. I could go on and on.
