Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I chose this set after carefully reading Amazon reviews for several different, similar, products. Washed once and put them away in a drawer, nested, as they fit nicely inside one another. I was so happy with how they would save space over other sets I have seen. Opened the drawer took out the rectangular set and they seem to just start to disintegrate in my hands. The edges of the pieces must have rubbed together while I was picking them up and now there are chips of glass and glass dust all over! How dangerous!! I can't imagine that these would withstand oven or microwave heat if they can't even be removed from a drawer without being damaged. I am deeply disappointed, concerned about the safety of this product, and will be returning without having ever even used them. Would give zero stars, if I could, and I will now be skeptical of every positive review I see on Amazon.
