The name of this program is misleading. It should, instead, be named "4 Idiots in Belize." It's got wonderful production values and a great cast, but it is either written by morons or by writers who think all viewers are morons. Pilot episode was intriguing and the next episode as well, but after the climax of episode 2, it seems to have become a contest to see how stupid the writers could make the main characters wile keeping the viewers tuned in. By episode 5 the 4 buddies (who seem to trust everyone but themselves despite multiple lessons) are on the run from a vicious drug lord. With safety just across the boarder in Guatemala, these 4 geniuses decide, "Hey, lets interrupt our escape to help some kids take a refrigerator home." The level of idiocy had passed my willingness to disbelieve before that, but at that moment I just lost interest in a series that seems aimed at insulting my intelligence (which ain't all that high).
