As much as the bag itself may be better than a plastic bag
As much as the bag itself may be better than a plastic bag, it is made from sugar cane. The problem with sugar cane, is that the biggest U.S sugar cane supplier is located in Florida; and the toxins from the sugar flow to Lake Okeechobee, which is then released into the ocean- in the Gulf. The whole Gulf is polluted and is killing the marine life because of it. Think twice about buying these bags.
