These are NOT cotton! The headline is deceiving and I am embarrassed that I was duped! I know enough about thread count to know this is NOT 1500. Out of the package I could tell these are not cotton and I began looking more closely at the reviews (I should have done this PRIOR to my purchase). The sheets feel VERY thin. I doubt they will hold up to my daughter's wild-sleeper antics. They are soft--I'll admit that--but, soft like very cheap, very heavily worn fabric. Not luxuriously soft. The seams seem to be whip-stitched and I question how long they will hold before unraveling. My daughter desperately needed sheets, so I decided to wash these and use. They produced a bunch of LINT (never have I ever seen sheets produce lint???).
