This camera does NOT have motion detection! The description clearly states that the camera has motion detection, but when I received it and tested it, it does NOT have motion detection, it doesn't exist in any of the options in the camera menu and the parking mode does not have motion detection either. What a bunch of sleazy lying mofo's! Now I have to go through the hassle of removing all the wiring I already did to my truck to mount this thing and peel off all the mounting accessories and go through the hassle of reboxing everything and returning it. If you read the description carefully they worded it to make it sound like the camera has motion detection, it's a sleazy trick they use to get people to buy it. BUT IT'S A LIE!!! The say something like "in parking mode the camera will detect motion when your car is hit while parked"....THAT IS NOT MOTION DETECTION! That is the G-sensor detecting the vibration of the hit. Bunch of LIARS!!! DO NOT BUY!!!
