I have used schwable high performance road tires for years and have always loved the mix of performance and puncture resistance. I made the switch to tubeless rims recently and started by purchasing a pro one. It exceeded all my expectations, fast, supple and durable for the better part of 1000 miles. I then purchased a second tire. Nothing but trouble, two serious punctures on the fire two rides and the tread was all cut up. Original tire was still on the bike and was undamaged. Cuts where so bad the tire had to be patched on the inside to hold 95 psi. A few weeks later a fatal cut so large it couldn't be fixed on the road without a boot and tube. It was like the tire was built without the belt. My original tire is still going strong with no issues at all. Contacted the seller about getting a defective tire but did not receive a reply. UPDATE: I gave these tires one more try with a third tire. All good for about 300 miles on the new one. On todays ride the tire had a MASSIVE blowout without warning. Running 95 psi no significant cuts pre-ride and I did not hit anything. Luckily for me I was climbing a small hill when the tire let go without warning. Descending this could have led to a serious crash. Done with these and taking the other tire off the bike. Two tires out of the three I purchased failed prematurely and catastrophically.
