Includes unnecessary (and illogical) gay romance
Having worked closely with the Russian people for the last 15 years within a professional career, one thing is clear: they aren't exactly open to gay-anything. So to assume that they were at the period time of this fictional tale, is absurd. Further, it adds nothing to the story and (thankfully) there wasn't a lot of even realistic build-up to the relationship to make it plausible. Had I read the reviews ahead of time warning of this content, I would not have watched the movie.
