This should not be addressedI in a review, but rather to a customer service representative--which Amazon does not have so I am voicing my concern here I.placed this ball on the carpet next to my solid wood Thomasville chest of drawers. Two days later when I picked it up there was a black tar like substance on the ball, and now my hand. I could not get it off of either. I also could not figure out where it came from. I could not find the source. Then I got down to examine the area where the ball has been resting----The black finish on my furniture had melted where the ball had been touching it. Soooooo this ball has the properties of a solvent. This is really bad. It can not be good for you if it destroys furniture.
