This is my first plumbing snake. I used it for the first time . I was reading the instructions and as I was going along I got to the point where it says shove the cable through until you hit the clog. Just for information purposes I live on the top floor of my apartment building. So I am pulling this cable out and no clog yet I just happened to notice that it picked up speed and flew out of the tool, all I had time for was to watch it go down the pipe. I can't believe that it wasn't anchored somehow or why there wasn't a warning that the cable was not anchored and to not let it out all of the way. I am very disappointed.
