Ordered this Feb 2018. It has worked wonderfully... until the batteries exploded. I noticed some residue on the back of it one day and figured maybe I put in an old battery. Took out the batteries, cleaned up all of the residue, then added 4 new ones. I was using it with the light switched on 2 days later and heard a crackling noise. I switched it off but didn’t have time to check on the batteries. A couple of days after the crackling noise, I noticed residue on the back again. A second set of brand new Energizer batteries had exploded. Now I’m afraid to use it at all!
