I actually can't recommend this because the cord is unusually short. It can't even reach across a very small counter. Unless your plug is to the right of the unit it only reaches 1.4 ft past the unit which is shorter than you think. Overall length about less that 2.5 feet. The only way to use it is if you put it right in front of the outlet. I would not have bought if I knew that. Never had the problem with any toaster in the past.
