Horrible waste
I read A. Doerr's "All The Light We Cannot See" before reading Nightingale and I have to say that it was comparable to reading Nicholas Sparks after Tolstoy. The dialogue at times was cringeworthy at best. I bought the book on the assumption it was going to be this great masterpiece on the subject. It got rave reviews. I was horrified at how bad it actually was in so many ways. Waste of time and money. It read like a cheap romance novel version of these events.
