Steam machine, but not much of a cleaner. Puts out a LOT of water so it is not a “vapor” style steamer. There’s no way this thug disinfects any surface. Would NOT remove water marks from a brand new stainless dishwasher. Did help remove mildew on the tile grout in my shower, although I used a lot of elbow grease and cleaner to make it fully work - it made that task slightly easier. Tried cleaning a gas cooktop and it didn’t do much. Wouldn’t clean turmeric off a backsplash. I would not use this on carpet, wood floor, or a bed because it would leave them soaked. I will be buying a true vapor model with a psi that is actually published. Should have known better on this one!
