Beware
Before I write my comments let me say that I have done beachbody's power half hour, P90X, and Insanity with Shaun T. I am also someone who jogs about 15-20 miles a week. However recently time has become and issue and I was ready for a change so I purchased T25. My first problem came after only 3 days when I realized by wearing my heart monitor during the workouts that I was not burning nearly enough calories. I was pushing it, and doing very few midfielders but still the calorie count was very very weak. Despite what they say you are not going to get an hour worth of results from a 25 minute workout. My bigger issue came as I neared the end of the first week and entered the second. My knees started to hurt a lot. This program as a ton of jumping, bouncing, etc. I don't have the best knees in the world, but as I mentioned before I run a good bit with no problems and have completed other exercise programs without issues. I was forced to stop T25 early in the second week due to knee pain in both knees. It took me about a week to get everything feeling good again and I tried again. Once again the pain returned and I decided that this was not going to work. I am not saying this program won't work for anyone, but its not for everyone. If you have any kind of knee or ankle problems beware this thing is hard on the legs. Not being able to do the program myself I gave it to my younger brother (26) who is in great shape and even more active then I am. He had the same issues arise. Besides not getting a good cal burn, on day 7 he quit citing ankle and knee pain. He then passed it on to another friend who had the same thing arise.
