Very Disappointed
I juice with my Ninja blender and use a mesh bag for the pulp to squeeze out the juice. This method works pretty good but I felt like I wasn’t getting enough juice out with my hands as a machine would. So I decided to buy the Breville juicer. I was very excited since it had great reviews, but it turned out to be a big let down. After making my green juice, I noticed that the pulp was still very wet, about the same consistency & texture as the pulp from my blender. I decided to put the pulp from the Breville juicer into my mesh bag to try and extract the rest of the juice. A pretty decent amount of juice came out. I expected the pulp to be drier coming from a ‘juicer’ since that’s what it’s suppose to do! I think I’ll stick to my blender since it does about the same. Or maybe switching over to a masticating juicer since I read it extracts the juice better.
PROS:
Easy to assemble
Easy to clean (comes with a nice brush)
Nice wide shute, which cuts prep time
CONS:
Leaves a frothy foam on top of the juice
Does not extract leafy greens well
Leaves pulp very wet
