I have used rice cookers for years. When the water heats at level #1, the water bubbles up and spews rice water through the vent and onto the counter and the the cooker. The rice tends to brown and get hard—not the typical sticky rice I am used to. I cannot image what would happen if I tried the maximum amount of rice and water. I have added a picture- look closely bubbling water coming out of lid and dripping over top onto the counter.
