I have owned dozens of headphones over the years and this was the second pair of wireless headphones that I have purchased over the last year or so. I can say without any hesitation that is the absolute worst sounding pair of headphones that I have owned. I was expecting a lot more from Beats. The base, or lack thereof, sounds better on a $5 pair of throw away headphones. I was stunned when I first tried these as I expected them to be as good as the Bose Sport headphones that have been my pair of choice the last few years. The sounds quality is subpar. The headphones are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing but that all goes out the window with the terrible sound. I bought a pair of these for myself and two pairs for my teenage boys for Christmas. I thought perhaps that I simply got a pair of defective headphones at first, because there was no way in my mind that these headphones could sounds so bad. I was wrong. All three sound absolutely terrible for the high price point. I would expect this sound from a $5 pair of headphones sold at a gas station or the dollar store but not from Beats and note for anything at this price point. Stay away from this particular model of wireless headphones (Powerbeats 3).
