This a cool piece of baby gear with a well-designed companion app. It looks nice and performs as advertised. That said, having a baby scale in my home seriously affected my mental health in the first six weeks of my baby’s life. I obsessed over the number on that scale to the point where I had given up on breastfeeding. If you are considering buying this item — or any baby scale, really — just give yourself pause. Why do you need a scale? It’s not going to make you a better mom, and it’s not going to help your baby’s health. Chances are, it’s just going to stress you out. I don’t recommend it.
